Simply Life.

One of the best experiences in life.

I’ve been neglecting my blog a bit…

LOL. I just logged on here for the first time in a few weeks it seems.

Either way, here I am.

A little update on my pregnancy. Well, luckily and very thankfully, everything is going great. No problems. Baby is healthy and whole and I haven’t suffered any of the horrors that pregnancy often brings for some women. If I have to complain about one thing I’d say it’s the water retention as of late. My face and my toes. It’s funny but, s’alls good! It will go away!

All in all, it’s been a beautiful experience.

I have less than 3 weeks left and I just put in my leave. I was lucky enough to work pretty much til the end and could have kept going but, I rather spend the last weeks with my Peanut. It’s hard to believe that I’m gone for a year,  I cannot wait to have my little fatty girl here and we can enjoy my time off together.

Gabriella is already so helpful.

Especially with me at my last stages of pregnancy. She is the sweetest child ever and I know so many mothers say that about their child. With good reason, but she really melts my heart with her genuineness and her kindness. I know that she is going to be a huge force and presence in our lives from this day forward as she’s already been. Even more so now. Just small things, like getting me water, tucking me in with a blanket, making sure I have enough pillows. Getting me a “snack” if she thinks I’m hungry. I adore her. I honestly believe this coming year will bring memories that will last me a lifetime. I’m so happy to share it with an amazing partner,  husband and father and my beautiful big sister Gabs.

So, Valentine’s went by. Hope everyone had a great one! Although it is highly commercialized and we should show each other we love each other every single day, it’s nice to do a little something extra one day. Lord knows that me and Hubs are highly affectionate. LOL. Probably vomit inducing to some! LOL 😛 But, that’s love! I had an amazing few days with my two Valentine’s. We baked cupcakes & enjoyed family time as well as alone time with my Hubby. I’m glad it fell on a long weekend for Gabs because that gave us all 3 days to spend in each others company. Especially now that we are still a small family of 3.

We also watched the Olympic opening. It was okay. I’m not very into them and probably  never will be. But, I have to say I cannot believe CTV played the luge accident it was horrific. Makes me shudder at the thought that it was plastered all over the news so the family could see over and over and over.

Anyway, I have to be absolutely thankful to God for how life is and how it has been going for me. The blessings that I am blessed with and the people I am surrounded by. I’ve learned that every single situation or “problem” as we often classify it, has a solution. We just have to find it. In my case, they’ve taken quite a long while and one has finally come to a close. I believe that in life you choose your own destiny, simply by the choices you make.

We are governed by a system and this system carries its own benefits and laws and when broken, its consequences. They aren’t taken lightly. I view this closure as a victory & I am only moving ahead to make things “right” in my eyes. I couldn’t give a damn about what other useless people say or think because they never know the truth unless they’ve walked it or seen it. Or know the legalities behind situations. So opinions do not matter. Ignorance is stupidity when you use your tongue without knowing. LOL.  Life is on its way and it has been for quite awhile and maybe for some, that is hard to swallow.

But, what can you do eh?

Well, life is beautiful and it’s only going to get better. I’m looking forward to enjoying my two babies, Spring and Summer and where I stand in this beautiful gift that is life. I’ve never been happier and I hope that all who read this have the same happiness. Well, most of you. 😉 LOL.

I’ll probably be on hiatus for a while considering I am taking advantage of being off and getting plenty of rest before baby is here. I am lucky enough to have my parents help me so much, I can just go over and sleep there while Gabs entertains them. But, I’ll be back sooner than you know! LOL. Well take care all.
